FASHION BRANDS ARE NOT SUSTAINABLE

...But we understand that we have a moral obligation to be as responsible as we can be. We believe that no fashion brand today should market themselves as 'sustainable' as the industry thrives off consumption and newness, which is why we avoid using this phrase altogether. As a new brand, we want to be honest that we are at the start of our journey and still have a lot to do when it comes to improving our environmental practices. What we are happy to confirm is that everything we do at Vinny Body revolves around how we can minimise our environmental impact, but still create the pieces that you love.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE SO FAR

We have already started making responsible choices, starting with collections which are made from recycled fibers or dead stock materials, and produced ethically in Amsterdam (where we are based) and Portugal (more information about our supplier can be found here). We use OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified materials— meaning our fabrics are tested for and free from harmful chemicals, including many PFAS and known skin irritants.

Our collections are designed as thoughtful capsule drops, meaning each one is limited to avoid overproduction and waste. This approach gives us the time to perfect every detail, ensuring each piece serves as an essential addition to your wardrobe, not something you wear once and forget.

We take our ethical and environmental responsibility very seriously and are closely monitoring the sustainable innovation in the stretch fabric industry. We are always open to feedback of where we can improve from our customers.

We will keep you updated as our environmental practices evolve, right here on this page.
